The most common diamond purchase we make is from a solitaire diamond engagement ring. Our chief diamond in house gemmologist Jonathan Williams has over 40 year’s experience and is a third generation diamond dealer and manufacturing jeweller. We are happy to purchase your diamond engagement ring with or without a certificate. Having a certificate slightly improves the price we offer especially if the certificate is of GIA origin.
If no certificates are available and your engagement ring is in our Diamond office, we can work out the 4c’s of your diamond.
Once we have done this analysis of your diamond, we will then evaluate it on current diamond market prices and then we will phone you with our maximum price we can pay for your diamonds and for the precious metal it is set in. We are happy to purchase your engagement ring even if it is not a solitaire engagement ring as we will purchase any engagement ring.
How We Pay You For Your Diamonds
Once you apply on-line or by phone or by live chat for one of our Royal Mail Special delivery Diamond packs we will automatically send you one to the name and address given to us. We will send it out to you with a pouch for your goods , plus a bubble wrap bag for you to put your pouch in, and then these 2 items with your goods, you can place in our Royal Mail bag and send it to us from your local Post Office. Our free diamond pack which we have sent you is automatically insured for up to £550. If your goods are worth more which normally they are, then when you get to the Post Office Counter please say that you wish to pay the extra cost of £2 on our parcel which will then give you a full insurance cover of £2500. The £2 we will reimburse you when we purchase your items.
When your parcel has arrived with us the next day before 1pm we will sign for it and then we will process your parcel through our system. Once we have evaluated your goods we will contact you by phone preferably to tell you the maximum price we can pay for your goods.
Assuming you are happy with our offer we will then ask you for your bank details and do a BACS transfer direct into your account .
In the unlikely event of us not purchasing your items, we will return to you free of charge, in a fully registered diamond pack back to the address given to us at your request. The pack will be fully covered by us irrespective of its value for the maximum insurance value of £2,500.
